Gym rules/guidelines

First off, if I had one rule to "rule them all" it would be to make sure you consider every person that walks into JP's gym every single day. Whether you're chasing a PB, prepping for a show, or in your later years and just want to get moving, all goals and training ages matter. All we ask is that you be kind, curteous, and considerate, and we will get on very well.

Now if the above rule is a tad too challenging, here's a few just in case.

1. Please make sure weights, and plates go back in the right places, not just where you found them. Every weight tree and storage horn has a number so you can easily see exactly where they go. Plate loaded machines with just four horns the order is 10/15/20/25kg, and the six horns (racks/weight trees) are 2.5/5/10/15/20/25kg. This is a non negotiable and you will get one warning, then be asked to leave.

2. Do not place attachments for machines on the floor, instead please put all regular D loops, ropes, wraps etc on cable machine hooks. Other attachments attach on the mesh surrounding the machines. If you are using clips, yoga blocks for not there intended purpose, please put them back on the surrounding racks, or stotage boxes.

2. Do not let anyone in the gate with your QR code unless authorised by staff/management, do not pass your QR code or door code out, and do not manually open the gate at any time. This will be an automatic cancellation of your membership.

3. All sundries, supplements must be paid either in house through card machine/cash, or purchased on the clubright app. This is an honesty policy, and I trust every member and non member thats enters JP's. don't let myself, staff and other members down.

4. Clean up after yourselves, this includes removing chalk from all machines/handles/bars, not leaving socks/wraps/blue roll,or any waste on the gym floor. recycling, and peeing over the toilet seat!

5. The olympic platform is primarily for olympic lifting, so if you are planning on deadlifting please use the 3 platforms in the powerlifting section. Be prepared to move when asked by someone looking to use the platfortm for its intended purpose.

6. We ask that members using the posing room be no longer than 15 minutes max, and ensure you are using the vacant/occupied sign. If you are unsure if someone is in or not, do not open door without chapping, and awaiting a non reply first.

7. Do not under any circumstance turn the thermostat for the gas heaters. Please ask first.

8. Do not take selfies or practice posing in the shower/changing areas, or toilets. Use the posing rooms provided

9. Being "pro tripod", content creation gym, all we ask is that you respect others working out and do not repost them training without permission. Working out takes priority.

10. JP's has always been known for being a welcoming, and friendly enviroment, so don't be inconsiderate, and not allow others to work in with you. Yes rest times are subjective, but do not take too long on machines, or perform multiple exercises on the same peice of equipment without considering others (cable and smith machines primarily).
